A great news day - Bantry House, Cork has just received an Historic Structures Fund grant of €200,000 for much needed repairs to the stone parapets and slate roof. Bantry House, together with its exceptional designed landscape and wonderful furnishings and collections, is a house of national and arguably international cultural significance. HHC completed a conservation management plan for this early eighteenth century protected structure and recorded monument in 2020 and prepared the successful HSF grant application on behalf of the client, the Shelswell-White family. We cannot wait to get started on this fantastic and incredibly worthwhile project, stay tuned for photos in the coming months.
